The continuous changing process of my work knows only a beginning. The rest is thinking, criticizing, changing and, in the end, stopping. Not working is also working, as the mindset develops and guides me towards new works and new connections. It is a continuous search in the realm of control, trust in the process and myself, freedom of expression and limitation. It is also a continuous search for the essence of possibilities. Nothing changes when my consciousness does not change. So I am in an ongoing process of awareness, striving for an new unity,which is an expression of my experiences in connection with my surroundings.
I am continually in search of me.
Louise Bourgois is exemplery for me. I feel I am only beginning and still have many years ahead to work, develop and exhibit. I am longing to include new media in my work and to envision new statements. My latest work is a combination of the natural and the manmade. Nature in culture, culture in nature. Bound and formed together through different logics. The natural part has much to do with rhythms, the underlying structure of life and living. These rhythms have different manifestations. The manmade aspects are manifested in the baroque qualities in my work.
